Santal
Citrus, grass, lavender and spice meet the warmer foundation of sandalwood, resins and musk.
Santal reinterprets a nineteenth-century Floris sandalwood fragrance for a more contemporary wardrobe. Smoother wood threads through aromatic freshness and spice. Introduced in 2002 as an Eau de Toilette, it remains a separate fragrance from the 2024 Eau de Parfum Santal Intense.
Bergamot, lemon and greener grass meet black pepper and cardamom. Clove, lavender and nutmeg form the centre, leading towards sandalwood, cedar and vetiver. Amber, frankincense, musk and vanilla surround the drier wood with warmer depth and gentler sweetness.
Consider it with more tailored everyday clothing, or when aromatic freshness should gain quieter woody support. The Japanese house suggests autumn wear. The illustrated 100mL bottle has a gold cap and a reddish-brown label on clear rectangular glass. Pale yellow liquid and the thick transparent base remain visible.
