Anti-Blues
Cocoa, incense and vetiver balance dark sweetness with dry, mineral shades.
Perfumer: Pierre Guillaume
Jacques Monory’s blue paintings of urban menace inspired Anti-Blues. Pierre Guillaume translates their cold fascination into a dark gourmand composition, returning to a theme that runs through his early work.
The woody bitterness of cocoa meets incense, vetiver, saffron and amyris. Hay, dark chocolate and vanilla shaded with leather and tobacco bring warmth against a drier mineral impression. The contrast gives the sweetness a dark, restrained outline. The selected 100 mL bottle is black with a gold-coloured cap and circular label.
