Pierre Guillaume is an independent French perfume house founded in 2005 and led by the perfumer of the same name. Its commercial office is in Paris, while its own workshops in Auvergne bring fragrance creation and production together under the founder's direction.

History

Originally trained as a chemist, Guillaume released his first perfume in 2002 after finding inspiration in his father's cigar box. In 2010 he established Pierre Guillaume Diffusion, incorporating a composing studio, a raw-material cellar and a packaging line, giving the house a practical foundation for both creative and financial independence. The numbered collection developed alongside other series that explore materials and themes from different perspectives.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The house treats textures, colour, paintings, photographs and impressions gathered while travelling as starting points for perfumes intended to be worn in everyday life. Gourmand accords, woods, flowers and leather recur across the collection, often combined in ways that connect a recognisable material with an unexpected atmosphere. Its rectangular bottles have curved sides, with a circular cap and label bringing the design together and leaving the liquid visible through the central glass.

Iconic Fragrances

Coze explores the warmth of a cigar box and spices, Aomassaï brings roasted sweetness together with woody bitterness, and Musc Maori gives musk a chocolate-like character. These compositions show how Guillaume connects materials with memories of food, interiors and landscapes, allowing familiar smells to take on a different setting.
