KYPHENZÉ – CITRUS REX
Citrus, sage, spices and sandarac resin evoke sunlit heat and warmed stone.
Perfumer: Pierre Guillaume
Scorching stones, midday sun, herbs and older resins provide the setting. A name echoing kyphi carries the imagined atmosphere of Mediterranean and Eastern rituals. The aim is a contemporary citrus interpretation of raw light and mystery, rather than a reconstruction of an ancient perfume.
Brighter citrus opens the fragrance, followed by spices, clary sage and liatris shaping its aromatic outline. Sandarac adds a golden balsamic impression with resinous and mineral depth. Fresher peel is supported by drier vegetation and warmer aromatic textures. The selected 100 mL bottle has a turquoise-to-clear gradient rectangular body with a gold-coloured cap and circular label.
