Bagatelle Roma preserves a moment from the early days of the Paris boutique. A colleague returned from the Bagatelle rose garden with two rosebushes on an old Vespa, soaked by a shower. Roses, damp earth and leaves mingled with petrol and leather at the Palais Royal, bringing a trace of Italian daily life into Paris.
Old roses and blackcurrant leaves meet petrichor. Drier petrol and leather shades give the sweeter flowers an unexpected outline. Garden and machine share the same rain-touched setting. The selected 100 mL bottle has a deep blue rectangular body with a gold-coloured cap and circular label.
