STÆLIOS
Violet wood infused with davana and pepper leaves meets the warmth of Russian leather.
Perfumer: Pierre Guillaume
The warmer smell of leather scraps recreated from an old shipwreck’s Russian leather provides the inspiration. Their supple, refined character becomes an image of a stallion burning like the sun. Stælios combines stallion and Helios, the sun god, within its name.
Davana, Ashanti pepper leaves, Russian leather and violet wood form the composition. A sweeter liqueur-like aromatic character and sharper leaves are surrounded by powder-tinted wood and smoother leather. Softer flowers and woods gain a warmer animalic gloss. The selected 100 mL bottle has a violet-to-pale-orange gradient rectangular body with a black cap and circular label.
