13.2 METAROSME
Rose becomes a luminous meeting of Obsidial’s watery minerals, salty Grisalva and redwood.
Perfumer: Pierre Guillaume
Obsidial, inspired by sun-warmed Volvic stone after rain, provides the starting point for an abstract rose. The flower is imagined leaving its vegetal form and becoming light or architecture. Métarosme combines metamorphosis, rose and osmosis within its invented name.
A Rose-Météore accord meets Obsidial, Grisalva and redwood. Watery, spicy mineral warmth expands the flower, while a balsamic, ambergris-like saltiness reverberates around it. The rose emerges as a white-light impression within a quieter woody outline. The selected 100 mL bottle combines clear rectangular glass with a black cap and circular label.
