Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche is a solar floral that Estée Lauder presents as a skinscent. Its focus is the velvety texture of tiare flower, set against creamy coconut and the earthy warmth of amber, sandalwood and vanilla.
Rather than a top, heart and base pyramid, the notes come in three groups. The radiant group gathers tiare flower, jasmine, magnolia petals, orange flower buds and lavender, placing white florals at the center, with the buds adding lightness and lavender a clean, herbal edge.
Unusually, the citrus is placed in the warm group: juicy mandarin, Sicilian bergamot, lemon and pulpy orange. Their bright, juicy fruit gives the flowers and coconut a sunlit quality rather than a sharp, cold sparkle.
