Foresta Magica
An imagined fairy forest connects bright citrus, aromatic herbs, soft flowers, woods and resins.
Perfumer: Lorenzo Pazzaglia
Foresta Magica, presented with House of Merlo, imagines a fairy forest as a personal place of refuge. Its extrait de parfum connects sunlit citrus with herbs and flowers carried on the wind, before turning towards the woods and resins associated with the deeper forest.
Lime, bergamot, lemon and grapefruit join ginger, Timur pepper and blackcurrant in a brighter opening. Rosemary, verbena, clary sage and lavender give the heart an aromatic contour among gardenia, magnolia and jasmine. Patchouli, vetiver, cedarwood, styrax, benzoin, ambrette, sandalwood and musk then provide a more substantial woody-resinous setting around the fresher green character.
Consider it for a preference for flowers with aromatic freshness and a quieter wooded finish. The green label on the 50mL black bottle includes the house owl and a small fairy figure, linking the presentation with the imagined forest.
