About Lorenzo Pazzaglia
Lorenzo Pazzaglia is an Italian fragrance house led by the perfumer and chef of the same name. Established under PAX in 2021, it develops extraits de parfum around food memories, coastal landscapes and personal connections, treating a remembered experience as the starting point for an individual composition.
History
Pazzaglia grew up among the hills of Cagli in the Marche region, where his family's restaurant brought taste and smell into close conversation. Experiments with essential oils were initially shared with friends and restaurant guests before family support helped turn the work into a fragrance business. That practical background in food remains visible in the house's interest in fruit, spirits, spices and contrasting textures, even when a composition moves well beyond the kitchen.
Philosophy & Signature Style
The house describes its production as handcrafted in Italy and places particular emphasis on concentrated compositions with an expressive personality. Its collections range from fuller gourmand ideas to marine landscapes and cocktails, allowing sweetness, aromatic freshness, woods and resins to play different roles. Rather than treating every subject alike, the fragrances connect an atmosphere or emotion with a particular relationship between materials.
Iconic Fragrances
Summer Hammer interprets a mango piña colada, while Black Sea takes its imagery from the sea before a storm. Carbonara turns a culinary inspiration into a fragrant relationship between pepper, coconut, davana and a warmer amber setting.
