Incenso Notturno moves from brightness towards a darker night-time setting, imagining an old town in winter and the quiet interior of a church. Damp walls, wooden benches and burning incense provide the atmosphere around its relationship between patchouli, woods and resins.
White pepper, elemi, lemon zest and bergamot give the opening a brighter spicy contour. Black pepper, patchouli, oud, cinnamon, nutmeg and damask rose form the heart. Incense, cedarwood, sandalwood, vanilla, amber and musk establish a warmer base around the earthier patchouli character, allowing the imagined damp setting and balsamic warmth to coexist.
The extrait de parfum suits a preference for incense and dry spice with a deeper earthy-woody character. Its 50mL black bottle carries a dark label with an architectural drawing, continuing the nocturnal theme.
