Van Py Rhum imagines a quiet moment with a glass of rum beside a crackling fireplace. The extrait de parfum connects the warmth of spirits and creamy vanilla with the earthier character of patchouli.
Bourbon, Madagascar, Tahitian and Mohea vanilla meet tonka bean and rum in the opening. Island vanilla, white flowers, caramel and patchouli form the heart. Oud, Indonesian patchouli, barrel-aged rum and black vanilla pod establish the base, giving the softer sweetness a deeper woody-earthy frame.
Consider it for an evening when you want vanilla with rum and drier material facets. The label on the 50mL black bottle uses a winged owl and red lettering beneath its rounded cap.
