Fôm imagines a winter evening beside a crackling fireplace, slowly enjoying Scotch whisky or barrel-aged rum. The extrait de parfum places that warmer drink impression among smoky, resinous and leathery textures.
Whisky, rum and caramel open with elemi and bergamot before a heart of birch tar and labdanum. The darker smoky character of birch tar and the fuller resinous impression give the sweeter drink theme a more substantial counterpart. Oud, leather, cedarwood, myrrh and oakmoss form the base, keeping dry wood and leather visible beside the caramel sweetness.
Consider it for a colder evening when you want a boozy fragrance with smoke and leather. The pale ochre label on the 50mL black bottle includes a line drawing of a building, beneath the rounded owl-marked cap.
