Eau Papaguéna

Élisire's first creation, inspired by its founder's yellow monochromes: bergamot and lemon light framed by incense, vetiver and cypress, in Extrait strength.

オー パパゲーナ 30mL ボトル

Eau Papaguéna is presented as the very first expression of Élisire. Perfumer Pierre Negrin describes it as a search for radiant light inspired by Franck Salzwedel's monochromes: a yellow built with the open structure of a cologne, yet concentrated as an Extrait de Parfum at 27%. The top pairs Calabrian bergamot's clear bitterness with the juicy lift of grapefruit blossom and a cool edge of Guatemalan cardamom. In the heart, Italian orange blossom absolute and Sicilian lemon carry the brightness forward while Ambrox adds a close, almost mineral warmth. The base of Somalian incense, Haitian vetiver, Italian cypress and musks gives the citrus a dry, faintly smoky frame. The founder asked for citrus pushed almost to fluorescence, and that saturation is held in check by wood and resin rather than sweetness. It suits anyone who wants sunlit citrus with more backbone than a classic cologne.
