Dreaming Ceylon
Steaming black tea evokes Ceylon through spice, jasmine, dry woods and mossy depth.
Perfumer: Aistis Mickevičius
Dreaming Ceylon follows the aroma of steaming black tea towards the tea plantations of distant Ceylon. Its subject is the richness of warmer tea leaves, with wood and earth providing a darker frame around them, rather than the coolness of iced tea. Aistis Mickevičius created the fragrance in 2020.
White pepper and bergamot bring a lighter prickle and a clearer citrus outline. Black tea forms the heart, accompanied by jasmine, coriander and saffron for floral and spicy facets. Vetiver, patchouli, white amber, woody notes, cedarmoss and cypress add drier timber and mossy depth beneath the tea.
Consider it for quieter outings or reading when tea should gain woody depth without excessive sweetness. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 50mL Parfum has clear rectangular glass, a black cylindrical cap, black front lettering, white rear branding and a thicker glass base.
