503 Sultan Fire
A charged Istanbul night seen from a rooftop, in saffron, incense, green hazelnut, white flowers and deeper woods.
Perfumer: Jean-Christophe Hérault
503 Sultan Fire evokes an Istanbul rooftop at night: illuminated palaces, the Bosphorus and dancing bodies below. Jean-Christophe Hérault translated the feeling of surveying the city like a sultan into texture and light. The official presentation calls it an elixir.
Saffron, Somali olibanum and Madagascan black pepper introduce leathery facets and cooler spice. A green-hazelnut accord, Indian jasmine sambac and Madagascan cinnamon meet in vegetal freshness, white flowers and warmth. Chinese osmanthus, Indonesian gurjun balsam and Javanese vetiver bring honeyed fruit and smokier woods.
The fragrance is shown in square 50mL glass. It suits evenings when green nuts feel more inviting beside spice and deeper wood than as a sugary dessert.
