Seoul Midnight imagines a city still filled with music and neon at twelve o’clock. Dark chocolate and cherry liqueur mingle above a substantial bar table, translating the heat and freedom of Seoul nightlife into fruit and wood. Antoine Lie created the 2025 extrait de parfum, a different composition and setting from the white-floral, musky Wimbledon Midnight.
Omija and cherry give the opening a sweet-tart fruit impression, with heliotrope lending a powdery softness. Almond, dark chocolate and plum make the heart nutty, rich and fruity. Oud, vetiver and ginseng provide the base with a quieter character of wood and roots. Sweet dessert associations meet a drier plant depth, rather than remaining a simple chocolate-and-fruit blend.
The clear 100mL bottle is topped with a hemispherical cap and marked with a dial-like time design. A cool evening provides a fitting setting for its rich fruit and chocolate character, especially when there is time to enjoy the contrast with its woody foundation.
