Made in collaboration between CRA-YON and the skincare brand MANTLE, this alcohol-free perfume oil grew out of an idea about where skincare and fragrance meet on the skin. The brand frames it around timeless decadence and a touch that lingers. It opens with the bright bitterness of bergamot and grapefruit. The green snap of tomato leaf and the dry heat of black pepper and ginger sharpen that opening, so a dusky shading arrives early. The heart turns herbal rather than sweet, with grassy cannabis, minty-rosy geranium and the leathery warmth of saffron. The base settles into soft woods, patchouli, amber, vetiver, moss and palo santo, an earthy and faintly smoky wood. As the brand puts it, black pepper and vetiver keep the character quiet but firm. As an oil, it is meant to be rolled directly onto pulse points, and it suits quiet, personal wear.
