Vetivera

Vetivera questions the habit of treating vetiver as an exclusively masculine scent. Jean-Claude Ellena combines Haitian vetiver with Madagascan black pepper, setting their warmer character against the impression of open water and sea breeze. The parfum joined the Signature collection in 2022, exploring both the depth of a fragrant root and a more expansive coastal mood.

Bergamot provides a brighter opening before vetiver and black pepper bring a drier, spicy character. Cedarwood supports the woody outline, while the sea-breeze impression adds space around those denser materials. The composition seeks depth without relying on heaviness alone.

Try it for a daytime outing, or when you want wood and spice beside simpler, fresher clothing. The 100mL presentation has a black rectangular body and broad cap with a gold-coloured label. Vetivera, the original name of the fragrance, appears clearly beneath the house name.
