Nutopia
Roasted peanut and dark chocolate, held in check by woods and balsamic resins.
Perfumer: Kévin Mathys
Nutopia is a gourmand built around the toasted savour of roasted peanut. In the opening, peanut meets the bitter edge of dark chocolate, while turmeric adds a dry, earthy spice. Rather than pushing toward confectionery, the composition gives its sweetness a frame of wood and resin — an intention the house links to a French-Swedish sense of clarity and craftsmanship. In the heart, orris brings a soft, powdery tone and vetiver an earthy dryness. An oak accord and burnt sugar connect that caramelised toastiness to the woods. The drydown settles into the warm, resinous sweetness of tolu balsam and benzoin, smoothed by sandalwood. The nut stays recognisable, but it is designed to blend with the chocolate and woods rather than stand alone. Its density suits cooler evenings or time spent close to others.
The house states a 20% perfume oil concentration for this Eau de Parfum.
