My Anarchism
An aromatic fougère of eucalyptus, Japanese hinoki and patchouli, cool and bitter in tone, set against a concept of honeyed words and illusory light.
AHRES describes My Anarchism as bitter freshness and cool dry spice with refined hinoki and herbs standing out. It is an aromatic fougère built on eucalyptus, hinoki and patchouli.
The top gathers eucalyptus, grapefruit, pineapple, spearmint, cardamom and bergamot: cool freshness from eucalyptus and mint, bitterness from grapefruit and dry spice from cardamom. The middle mixes herbs and green resin—lavender, clary sage, galbanum—with rose, plum and geranium, plus Japanese-made hinoki. Vetiver, cedarwood, musk, amber and patchouli form the base.
The concept speaks in a very different register: invincible, bewitching honeyed words, lies and kindness that intoxicate, a brief time of melting together while facing one another, and an alluring, illusory light. Rose and plum, amber and musk are the materials closest to that sweeter, more seductive side.
Each AHRES fragrance has one original soundtrack made by an artist. The series uses brown-rice ethanol fermented and distilled from organic rice grown in fallow fields in Oshu, Iwate, and incorporates rare Japanese materials; Japanese hinoki gives its green resins and herbs a quiet woody grounding.
