Blue Amber
Herbs, spice and rooty woods move from mountain-breeze brightness toward the warmer texture of vanilla and resins.
Perfumer: Pierre Montale
Blue Amber pictures a mountain wind carrying bergamot and geranium toward a warmer trail of amber and vanilla. Pierre Montale makes contrast central to the fragrance, setting brighter air against deeper warmth.
Coriander, lavender, nutmeg and bergamot give the opening herbal greenery, drier spice and citrus light. Patchouli, geranium, vetiver and thyme add floral, leafy and earthier layers in the heart. Vanilla, balsam, cistus and musk form a foundation where fuller resinous texture meets sweetness and a softer touch.
A blue label marks the gold 50mL aluminium bottle, with its gold spray and charm. It offers warmer resins with greener air moving through them, a combination to consider when depth still needs some brightness.
