Muschio di Luce
Fresher cardamom, juniper and pink pepper meet quieter woods, with softer musks and Ambrox Super adding warmer depth.
Perfumer: Alberto Morillas
Muschio di Luce brings softer musky warmth into a brighter setting of pink pepper and woods. Created by Alberto Morillas and introduced in 2025, the eau de parfum forms part of Gucci’s Alchemist’s Garden collection. Its central theme is a musk that combines presence with a more airy impression. Sweeter, powderier facets meet the lighter spice of pink pepper and the quieter woody depth of vetiver. It suits someone who enjoys a gentler musk texture with more clearly defined wood and spice around it.
Guatemalan cardamom and juniper berry essences open with fresher aromatic detail, given a lighter spicy edge by pink pepper extract. Atlas cedarwood provides a drier wooden impression in the heart, with Haitian vetiver adding a more grounded, root-like depth. Australian sandalwood brings smoother warmth around those woods. Benzoin contributes gentler resinous sweetness in the base, beside softer, powderier musks. Ambrox Super adds ambery depth with its own musky and woody tonalities, connecting fresher aromatics with a quieter, more rounded background.
Try it for a morning gallery visit or a relaxed weekend walk. A white cotton shirt or pale knitwear can meet the softer musk and quieter woods. The selected 100mL bottle has rounded shoulders and a white glass body beneath a gold-toned stopper. A bird of paradise, symbolising freedom and splendour, appears above the name, surrounded by fine golden leaves and a ribbon. Its antique apothecary-inspired form gives the luminous musk theme a softer, brighter visual expression.
