L’Oudh

Natural oud essential oil from Laos sits at the centre of L’Oudh. Rather than following a classical top-heart-base pyramid, the perfume explores a single oud accord from different angles. Cypriol joins vetiver, patchouli, myrrh, cistus and sandalwood, bringing out smoky, leathery and deeply resinous facets. Musk and ambergris accords add a lasting animalic warmth with little sweetness. Andy Tauer’s Eau de Parfum retains an untamed oud character instead of smoothing away its wildness. The faceted blue 50 mL bottle combines a pale-pink and deep-green label with a dark cap.
