Forest Green
Bright lychee and bergamot open into the cool green of iris and violet leaf. Musk, amber and vetiver give the finish a calm depth, like a misted forest. A quiet scent for daytime rest.
1945 Crystal Forest Green is a self-revival of Green Leaf & Iris, a scent that once went largely unnoticed among the brand's other releases. The original composition has been kept, with a reinforced base and a full pyramid that moves from top through middle to last.
It opens on lychee, bergamot and pear. The fruit is bright rather than sweet, and bergamot's bitter edge keeps it from turning soft. Iris, violet leaf and lily of the valley then take over, shifting the weight from citrus to green. Leafy freshness and the dry, powdery side of iris arrive together, cool and lightly shaded.
The base is musk, amber and vetiver, described as richer and more full-bodied than the original. Vetiver brings a dry, earthy tone; musk softens it, and amber adds a faint warmth underneath. The pale green liquid, imagined by SHOLAYERED as a slightly misted, humid forest with soft light coming through, points in the same direction as the scent.
