Nebbia Densa
A fallen branch in a foggy forest inspires vetiver, woods and botanical musks with cooler dew.
Perfumer: Filippo Sorcinelli
Nebbia Densa imagines a fallen branch among wet moss and uncertain footsteps through trees. Scale and the horizon disappear in the fog, while thin clouds seem to reshape darker green forms. The forest becomes a cathedral-like space, with roots, woods and the moisture of dew giving the fragrance its setting.
Vetiver and sandalwood form the subject, botanical musks and palo santo the counter-subject, and dew the tail. Earthier roots and softer wood meet a rounder musk impression and the aromatic woody outline of palo santo, with a cooler image of droplets resting on leaves.
Consider it for contrasting wood and root textures beside the damp air of a foggy scene. The tall clear 50mL bottle reveals pale yellow liquid. A large silver-coloured, ear-like cap extends down its left side, with a white triangular name plaque and a thick glass base completing the form.
