Jupiter
Saffron, oud, incense and resins lead to warmer woods and ambergris, with sweetness and dry spice interpreting the power of Jupiter and his thunderbolt.
Perfumer: Sofia Bardelli
Jupiter takes its name from the Roman god who ruled the heavens with a thunderbolt. Created by Sofia Bardelli and introduced in 2020, it expresses that image of strength and confidence through warmer woods, cistus, amber and spice. The composition moves from a more strongly accented opening towards a drier, slightly powdery texture, while retaining a softer thread of sweetness.
Saffron, oud, incense, cistus and davana introduce a heart of patchouli, sandalwood, cedar and vetiver. These earthy and woody materials lead to another appearance of oud in the base, alongside ambergris, tonka, ambrette seeds, musk and vanilla. The ambergris gives a brighter, more mineral-feeling contrast to the sweeter warmth, extending the character of the woods without relying on weight alone.
Consider it for a cool-weather outing or an evening when you want to spend time with woods and resins. The 100mL bottle combines clear glass and pale liquid with a rose-gold-coloured cap and shoulders. A circular medallion carries the eagle and fragrance name above a thick, transparent glass base.
