About ELECTIMUSS

ELECTIMUSS is a London fragrance house inspired by the myths, architecture and perfume culture of ancient Rome. Founded in 2015 by Luke Granger and Jason Collison, it develops expressive compositions with collaborating perfumers. Flowers, woods, resins and spices provide a varied palette for fragrances intended to make a distinct impression.

History

The idea grew from Granger's early experience of fragrance through his grandfather. He began developing the concept in the early 2010s before launching the house with his friend Collison. Claire Sokell Thompson later joined the team, helping to shape a more cohesive creative direction. The business remains an independent, founder-owned house, bringing different perfumers into its creative process rather than presenting its collection as the work of a single nose.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The name expresses the house's belief in choosing the best. Its approach gives perfumers a role as creative partners, with attention to the combination of materials and the way a fragrance develops. Names drawn from gods, emperors and ancient places establish the subjects of individual perfumes. The packaging carries the same architectural interest: fluted glass and substantial metal caps reinterpret classical columns through a contemporary bottle.

Iconic Fragrances

Amber Aquilaria, by Julien Rasquinet, brings cognac and vanilla into a composition with oud. Christian Provenzano's Capua explores cedar alongside spices and other woods. In Vanilla Edesia, Cécile Zarokian sets the softer gourmand character of vanilla against stronger spicy and woody facets.
