Imperium
Bergamot and coriander lead to white flowers, rose and sweeter woods in a citrus-floral interpretation of Roman authority and confidence.
Perfumer: Marco Genovese, Sofia Bardelli
Imperium takes the Roman idea of supreme authority as a subject for confidence, presence and the determination to choose a direction. Created by Sofia Bardelli and Marco Genovese and introduced in 2020, it expresses those ideas through a brighter citrus opening, a fuller floral heart and warmer, sweeter woods. The composition moves from an energetic entrance towards a rounder and more enveloping texture.
Bergamot and coriander introduce rose, lily, saffron, jasmine, neroli and tuberose. These flowers soften the opening’s clearer outline before amber, musk, Madagascan vanilla, guaiac wood, oud and patchouli build the base. Sweeter vanilla meets a faintly smoky woody impression, extending the creamier floral character into a warmer finish.
Consider it for a more dressed-up daytime outing or when you want flowers and citrus with a sweeter foundation. The 100mL bottle combines clear glass with a rose-gold-coloured cap and shoulders. A metal-toned circular medallion bears the eagle and fragrance name, above a thick transparent base that supports the tall outline.
