Mercurial Cashmere takes its subject from Mercury, the messenger of the gods, whose quick intelligence, charm and skill with stories fascinated the Romans. Created by Sofia Bardelli and introduced in 2021, it translates that attraction into a fragrance that moves from brighter spice towards white flowers and softer woods. Its warmer, sweeter base gives those floral materials a more enveloping setting.
Madagascan pink pepper, cardamom and Italian bergamot introduce ambergris, tuberose, violet and iris. Oud, musk, tonka bean, vanilla, caramel, cashmere wood and Virginian cedar then build the base. The sweeter materials and creamier flowers meet smoother woods, with oud providing a deeper contrast beneath that softer texture.
Consider it for a cool-weather outing or an evening when you want a sweeter floral fragrance with a warmer woody feel. The 100mL bottle has dark smoked glass, a rose-gold-coloured cap and metal shoulders. Its black circular medallion bears the eagle and fragrance name, with the darker outline continuing into the thick glass at the base.
