Moroccan Medjool
The honeyed, caramel-like sweetness of Medjool dates meets citrus, flowers and softer woods in a fragrance inspired by a sunlit Moroccan oasis.
Perfumer: Marco Genovese
Moroccan Medjool takes its subject from a sunlit oasis and an abundant harvest of Medjool dates. Created by Marco Genovese and introduced in 2025, it places the fruit and its habitat at the centre of the Explorer Collection composition. Trade between Rome and North Africa provides the background for an interpretation of the honeyed, caramel-like sweetness of dates.
Dates, grapefruit, lemon, cardamom and bergamot introduce rose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, carnation and another appearance of dates in the heart. Flowers surround the fruit before cashmere wood, ambergris, oakmoss, vanilla and caramel form the base. Cashmeran adds a warmer, mineral-feeling texture, bringing a suggestion of drier desert air around the fuller sweetness.
Consider it for a leisurely day with a sweeter fruity fragrance, or an evening when softer warmth appeals. The 100mL bottle combines orange glass with a rose-gold-coloured cap and shoulders. Its orange circular medallion bears the eagle and fragrance name, while the thick glass base extends the warmer, ripe-fruit colour.
