Pomona Vitalis

Pomona Vitalis takes its subject from the Roman goddess of fruit trees, gardens and orchards. Created by Christian Provenzano and introduced in 2022, it expresses that sense of abundance through juicy fruit and a fuller rose heart. The composition moves from a brighter, fruit-led opening towards the quieter warmth of woods and resins, while keeping the character of the flowers in view.

Lychee, strawberry and apple meet Calabrian bergamot before a duet of Bulgarian rose and rose absolute. The sweet-tart fruit brings out different textures in the petals, from softer powder to a richer floral sweetness. Sri Lankan sandalwood, vanilla, Honduran styrax, benzoin and Indonesian patchouli then form a creamier base, with a slightly leathery accent beneath the continuing rose character.

Consider it for an outing between spring and autumn, or when you want bright fruit alongside warmer roses. The 100mL bottle combines clear glass and pale liquid with a rose-gold-coloured cap and shoulders. A metal-toned circular medallion bears the eagle motif, while the thick transparent base leaves the lower glass visible beneath the liquid.
