Sandalwood sits at the core of Sacred Santal. The brand draws on sacred forests in India, the warmth of sandalwood burning in temples, and old meditative rituals, framing the scent as a spiritual pilgrimage across Asia.
The top pairs Japanese cypress with cardamom. Hinoki's clean, dry wood meets a cool-edged spice, so even though this is a woody fragrance, it opens with some lift before the heavier woods arrive.
In the heart, orris root brings a powdery, earthy smoothness; the brand names it as the material that deepens the sandalwood's woodiness. Juniper berry adds a resinous, green, clean-cut bitterness alongside it.
Five notes make up the base: sandalwood, amber, cedarwood, oakmoss, and vetiver. Milky soft wood, warm resinous sweetness, dry timber, the shade of moss, and the earthiness of roots stack into layers, pulling the whole composition toward a low, grounded woody center.
