brainwashing
Cherry and peach blossoms, plum and white flowers meet citrus and a quieter woody base.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Brainwashing depicts the dignified impression of cherry and plum blossoms alongside the supports holding tree branches. Kilesa imagines the substantial posts appearing to control the trees, an observation that gives the fragrance its name. A gentle floral scene contains this more unusual relationship between the tree and its support.
Lemon, geranium and bergamot open with citrus brightness and a greener floral detail. Rose, plum, cherry blossom, jasmine, ylang-ylang and peach blossom create the heart. Lighter blossom impressions meet fuller white flowers and sweet fruit. Musk, vetiver, amber and patchouli form the base, adding dry grassy wood and warmer shade beneath the flowers.
It suits a daytime outing when varied flowers with citrus and a quieter finish feel appealing. The rounded 50 mL clear-glass bottle carries a silver-coloured cap and its name printed directly on the front.
