Lavande
Cooler lavender and refreshing eucalyptus meet creamier sandalwood, with quieter vetiver and softer white musks.
Perfumer: Anne-Louise Gautier
Lavande pairs the clearer character of southern French lavender fields with softer, milk-like woody warmth. It joined the mood fragrance range in 2026, the house’s fiftieth anniversary year. Anne-Louise Gautier gives familiar lavender a more contemporary interpretation, connecting its aromatic freshness with the gentler depth of sandalwood, vetiver and white musks. True lavender from southern France provides the floral and herbal starting point, with softer warmth extending the impression of flowers moved by a drier Provençal breeze.
Lavender opens the official composition with cooler herbs and aromatic flowers. Eucalyptus adds a more refreshing breath through the heart, before sandalwood surrounds that freshness with a creamier woody texture in the base. The quieter root-like character of vetiver and cleaner softness of white musks also support the warmth. Cooler herbs connect with smoother wood and musk rather than remaining sharply aromatic alone. It suits someone who enjoys lavender flowers alongside gentler warmth and a more enveloping woody feeling.
Try a little during an evening routine or a quieter break after finishing work. Soft cotton clothing or paler knitwear offers a relaxed setting for the lavender and wood. The selected 75mL bottle pairs rounded shoulders in clear glass with a black cylindrical cap. A ringed black neck and a pale label carrying the Lavande name define a concise outline. The rounded lower edge of the label and thicker transparent base give the fresher herbs and softer wood a restrained physical form.
