Anne-Louise Gautier
A Grasse-based EP perfumer, working with softer musks, woods and powdery floral textures.
About Anne-Louise Gautier
Anne-Louise Gautier is a perfumer based in Grasse and a member of the creative team at Expressions Parfumées. Her work includes natural fragrances as well as compositions that explore the softer textures of musk, wood and powdery flowers, connecting more intimate sensory impressions with contemporary fragrance projects.
Career
Her interest in perfumery began during summer work in a research and development laboratory, where she handled fragrance concentrates for detergents. Their richness and ability to awaken memories drew her attention, and the laboratory director introduced her to ISIPCA, the school for perfumery and related disciplines. Exploring books, perfumes and fragrance materials led her towards composing scents and telling stories through them.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Painting, music, memories and even silence can provide starting points for rebuilding an emotion or atmosphere in scent. She has a particular affection for musks, softer woods and powdery flowers, which help her express a gentler, enveloping character. She looks for balance that feels natural and gives intuition an important place in judging a composition.
