Rose on the Shore imagines roses growing through narrow gaps in weather-worn rocks beside the Atlantic. Floral brightness and earthy depth express their resilience against wind and waves. A warm bodily accent gives the rose a more independent outline.
Lemon and pink pepper open with the fresh leafy character of lychee leaf. Rose de Mai and Egyptian geranium meet the warm animalic aspect of castoreum at the heart. Patchouli, vetiver and musk lead the flowers towards a deeper woody and earthy drydown.
Choose it when rose should also have leaves, roots and a leathery depth. A small application can accompany restrained clothes when a purely bright floral feels too simple.
Jasper Li created this eau de parfum, announced in the debut collection in 2021. The selected clear 50mL bottle has a thick glass base, a black cylindrical cap and a white label bearing the name.
