Harmonie Pastorale
Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony becomes a composition of resins, herbs, and woods, with cool peppermint among layered greens.
Perfumer: Lucien Ferrero
Harmonie Pastorale
Lucien Ferrero took inspiration from Beethoven's Sixth Symphony, the Pastoral, imagining the elements of nature as instruments within an orchestral composition.
Lentisque essential oil, lavender, and bitter tangerine open the fragrance. Peppermint, clary sage, thyme, and white jasmine bring cooling and aromatic green textures to the heart. Java vetiver, lentisque absolute, patchouli, and teak wood form the base, placing resinous and woody substance beneath the lively citrus.
This eau de parfum was introduced in 2020. The clear 100 mL bottle carries a white label and black cap. Its composition fits a quiet daytime setting, particularly for someone drawn to herbs and woods rather than sweet flowers.
