About Anthologie

Anthologie brings together the compositions and personal memories of French perfumer Lucien Ferrero. Developed with the Italian company Kaon, the collection treats fragrance as a way to describe lived experience: a garden, a distant landscape, or an emotion that stays with its creator.

History

The collection previously carried Ferrero's own name. It adopted the Anthologie identity and new packaging when Ferrero renewed his creative partnership with Jean-Claude Ellena. Their collaboration, more than forty years after their earlier shared experiences, gave the project a new direction. The name presents the range as a gathering of distinct compositions rather than a single theme repeated across every bottle.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The approach connects the elegance of traditional perfumery with a contemporary understanding of materials. Ferrero worked with Accords et Parfums to develop three alcoholates from orange blossom, jasmine, and rose concretes. These materials extend the available ways of expressing flowers, while the wider collection moves among floral, green, woody, and spicy subjects. Its emphasis is on the creators' memories and choices rather than following a uniform market formula.

Iconic Fragrances

C’est Mutine and C’est Rebelle were created with Ellena and reflect the freedom of their youthful approach to perfumery. Rose Abricot takes inspiration from a rose in Ferrero's garden. The minimalist bottles are paired with textured, FSC-certified cartons containing forty percent recycled material. Braille on the packaging was developed through collaboration with the Italian association for blind and partially sighted people.
