Veil Rose
Rose and geranium meet pink pepper and fennel, with myrrh, patchouli, vetiver and musk giving the flowers woodier depth.
Perfumer: Frank Voelkl
Veil Rose imagines a figure looking through a veil from behind a stage or canvas. A face may remain hidden while a presence is still felt, an idea expressed through rose, spice and wood. Composed by Frank Voelkl and introduced in 2024, the eau de parfum forms part of a chapter concerned with lovers, artists and people whose presence brings light to one another's lives.
Rose with a bitter inflection and geranium open the composition, followed by pink pepper and fennel at the heart. Fresher spice and greener aromatic impressions sit beside the flowers, while myrrh, patchouli, vetiver and musk form the base. Resinous depth, earthy texture and drier wood give the rose a more varied setting beyond its softer floral sweetness.
Try it when you enjoy rose together with wood and a clearer spicy character. It offers a floral direction to consider alongside quieter clothes or on a day when you want a rose composition with greener and drier detail. The 100mL bottle presents clear glass, red lettering and a rounded black cap. The thicker glass base and the contrast between pale liquid and darker cap give the otherwise simple design its visual structure.
