About Les Parfums de Rosine

Les Parfums de Rosine is a French fragrance house centered on the varied character of roses. Garden flowers, their colors, shapes and aromas become starting points for compositions involving citrus, tea, woods, fruit and powdery softness. The collection explores how one flower can inspire many distinct olfactory impressions.

History

Marie-Hélène Rogeon started her own fragrance business in 1991. She grew up in the Panafieu family, whose history included perfume making, and gained marketing experience at Balmain, Givenchy and Caron. Her interest in fragrance bottles, decorative labels and the family’s craft contributed to the creation of an independent rose-focused collection.

Approach to Fragrance

Rose oils and absolutes are central materials for the house. Rogeon described working with different perfumers to discover new interpretations, rather than repeating one standard rose accord. Natural essences and readable compositions are part of its approach: individual ingredients should remain perceptible as the fragrance develops on skin.

Fragrances and Presentation

La Rose de Rosine explores the fullness of a red rose with a powdery texture, while Roseberry connects wild roses with lively greenery. The Ballerina collection translates clusters of small flowers into the imagery of dancers, with delicate tulle decorating the bottles. Colored tissue wrapping and silky tassels extend the attention to detail into the physical presentation, making the bottle and its packaging part of the experience of choosing a fragrance.
