Rose Nue
Rose leaf and mandarin lead to rose, heliotrope and vanilla, wrapped in suede, woods and musk.
Perfumer: Delphine Lebeau
Rose Nue imagines a rose unfolding close to bare skin. Delphine Lebeau composed this eau de parfum in 2017. The pale petals of the Cuisse de Nymphe Émue rose inspire a composition that brings powdery softness and a suede-like texture around the flowers, suggesting an easy intimacy.
Mandarin, aldehydes and rose leaves add brightness around citrus and greenery. Turkish rose, heliotrope and vanilla join petals with a gentler powdery sweetness. Sandalwood, Ambrox, suede and musk bring the flowers into softer woods and a more skin-like finish.
The selected 50mL flacon gives the composition a tangible presence. The rounded glass bottle carries an R monogram and decorative tassels around its neck. A soft shirt, light knit or an unhurried afternoon suits its intimate floral character. The gentler textures offer a setting for rose close to the impression of skin.
