Bois Fuchsia

Bois Fuchsia joins the flowers of Rosa gallica with a raspberry-like fruity sweetness. Michel Almairac composed it in 2019. The eau de parfum connects the vivid colour named by fuchsia with a deeper woody setting, giving its richer rose heart both fruit and a softer, skin-like finish.

Blackcurrant and iris give the opening tart fruit with a powdery outline. Rose, raspberry and lychee add fuller petals and juicy sweetness to the heart. Patchouli, musk and sandalwood wrap flowers and fruit in a more rounded woody finish, providing quieter depth around the brighter impression.

The selected 100mL flacon gives the composition a tangible presence. Its coloured bottle has a restrained cylindrical cap and an R monogram on its front. Colourful clothing or an afternoon occasion suits its floral fruitiness. The softer woods give the brighter rose and fruit a calmer surrounding texture.
