La Cologne de Rosine
Citrus illuminates rose, freesia and violet, supported by cedar, white musk and amber.
Perfumer: Nicolas Bonneville
La Cologne de Rosine interprets discreet elegance through a bright rose without restricting its character by gender. Nicolas Bonneville composed it in 2015. Although named a cologne, it is an eau de parfum, placing citrus light around centifolia rose before settling into quieter woods and musk.
Bergamot, citrus and mandarin create an immediately bright beginning. Rose, freesia and violet form a heart of softer, lighter petals. Cedar, white musk and amber provide a more grounded outline around the flowers. The composition places crisp citrus beside the rounded presence of rose.
The selected 100mL flacon gives the composition a tangible presence. The rounded glass bottle carries an R monogram and a ribbon around its neck. A light shirt or an easy daytime outfit suits its floral freshness. It is a fitting choice when softer rose is welcome alongside citrus and a restrained woody finish.
