Ballerina N°4
White rose, jasmine and tuberose meet peach and incense over sandalwood, tolu balsam, moss and Ambroxan.
Perfumer: Delphine Lebeau
Ballerina N°4 takes inspiration from the Ballerina rose bush, whose small flowers suggest a ballet of young dancers. Delphine Lebeau composed this eau de parfum in 2018 from an idea by Marie-Hélène Rogeon. Its association with purity and innocence becomes a luminous white floral character surrounded by softer woods.
Bergamot, pink pepper and cardamom add light spice to the citrus opening. Bulgarian white rose, jasmine and tuberose combine with peach and incense in the heart, bringing floral fullness and rounded fruit. Sandalwood, tolu balsam, moss and Ambroxan carry the petals into softer woods and warmer balsamic shades.
The selected 50mL flacon gives the composition a tangible presence. The rounded glass bottle wears tulle around its neck, recalling the tutu of a ballet costume. A white shirt or a dressed daytime occasion suits its bright flowers. The gentler warmth of woods and balsam provides a soft setting around the floral center.
