Coreterno, meaning “eternal heart” in Italian, is a luxury brand conceived in Rome and brought to life on the cosmopolitan streets of New York in 2015. Under the guidance of Creative Director Michelangelo Brancato, it draws inspiration from a mysterious world of rebellious artists, poets, and engravers.
History
The house frames its story through an imagined world of alchemists, engravers, rebels, and poets. This interest in older forms of knowledge and handcraft carries through its accessories, fragrances, and jewelry. Rome and New York remain the two points of departure: one associated with the project’s conception, the other with its emergence in 2015.
Philosophy & Signature Style
Coreterno’s collections reinterpret archetypal rock and pop symbols, nineteenth-century portraits, and antique etchings with a contemporary twist. Its fragrances embody the energy of rock ’n’ roll, punk, and the 1970s underground scene, infused with timeless classical allure.
Iconic Fragrances
Signature scents include Café Mémoire, with roasted coffee beans and birch tar smoke, and Punk Motel, a crispy flowery musk with bergamot and white rose. Their black caps and richly detailed gold bottle decoration carry the same visual language as the wider collection. Café Mémoire takes a familiar everyday drink into darker, smoky territory, while Punk Motel pairs a floral character with soft musk.
