Hardkor takes inner wildness and the heat of night as its inspiration. Arturetto Landi sets the bright sweetness of mango and passion fruit against a deeper combination of amber, oud and leather. The contrast between juicy fruit and a dark, warm finish gives the composition its character.
Grapefruit, mango, blackcurrant and passion fruit form the opening. Tart citrus and berries sharpen the sweetness of tropical fruit. Jasmine, orchid and lily of the valley then bring a softer floral centre, adding fullness while keeping some of the opening's brightness. Fruit and flowers provide a vivid setting for the materials underneath.
Vanilla, frankincense, amber, white musk, leather, oud and patchouli make up the base. Sweetness and resinous smoke meet the depth of woods and leather, carrying the fruit into a stronger, warmer setting. It is this meeting of luminous fruit with dark materials that connects the composition to its night-time imagery.
