Mystic Sugar

Mystic Sugar imagines a tropical island floating above the clouds, a dreamlike place where innocence and a little transgression coexist. Luca Maffei expresses that scene through fruit, cocoa, flowers and spice. The familiar appeal of sweet gourmand materials meets the brightness of tropical fruit.

Orange and pineapple open with juiciness, accompanied by the floral character of almond blossom. Cocoa absolute, cardamom, jasmine, ginger and tonka bean form the centre. Spice and soft flowers surround the richness of cocoa, bringing warmth and a slightly bitter shading to the sweetness of the fruit. Each material adds a different texture to the island imagery.

Vanilla absolute, sandalwood and amber make up the base. Smooth woods and the warmth of amber join the vanilla, wrapping the fruit and cocoa in a softer finish. The result is a gourmand whose sweetness leaves room for flowers and spice, carrying its tropical theme beyond fruit alone.
