No Sleep turns the excitement of a sleepless night into a vivid floral composition. Luca Maffei works with images of speed, light and living in the moment, setting a lively bouquet beside soft woods and a trace of vanilla. The contrast gives the flowers a gentler setting as the fragrance develops.
Bergamot, hyacinth and white rose open the perfume. Bright citrus meets the fresh character of flowers before the centre expands into lily, jasmine and violet. The richer sweetness of white flowers is joined by the powdered softness of violet, adding another texture to the bright bouquet.
Patchouli, vanilla and white woods form the base. Earthy depth supports the flowers, while vanilla and the white-wood accord wrap the composition in softness. Although a restless night provides the imagery, a quiet sweetness also has a place in the finish. Flowers remain the subject, with woods and vanilla providing a warm counterpoint.
