About Roos & Roos

Roos & Roos is a French fragrance house founded in 2014 by Chantal Roos and her daughter, Alexandra. Chantal brings a long career in the fragrance business and Alexandra a background in music. They work with perfumers to bring their ideas to life.

History

Chantal spent decades at the heart of the perfume industry, helping launch some of the most successful fragrances of her era. Alexandra grew up surrounded by perfume through her mother, yet trained first in music as a singer, guitarist and songwriter. She later traded that career for scent, and in 2014 mother and daughter joined forces around their shared love of perfume.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The house gives its perfumers a single brief: make striking fragrances with no compromise on olfactory form or on the choice of ingredients. Fabrice Pellegrin, born into a family of perfumers in Grasse, composed the first twelve fragrances, and Dominique Ropion has since signed several more. Each scent begins with an "impulse": a moment or a figure that moved Alexandra or Chantal.

Iconic Fragrances

A Capella grew from Alexandra's emotion at the purity of a single voice rising alone. Bergamot and mandarin open onto a rosebud nestled in crisp green ivy, settling on pale, transparent woods. Mentha Religiosa, inspired by a dual, hypnotic woman imagined by Chantal, moves from bright peppermint through iris to a vibrant trail of incense and patchouli.
